Join us on the 1st of March 2025 for the 2nd event of the Run The Vines 2025 Series.
Vermentino at Ayama introduces a new wine era to the South African Wine Industry.
We decided to take a detour back to our Italian roots and introduce a truly Italian cultivar to this unique terroir of the Voor Paardeberg. This historical event saw the meeting of two countries becoming one.

3km Manzi Water Paarl Junior Challenge for kids under 8 years of age — Free – Start 8:50
This distance can change depending on the farm. All kids must be accompanied by a parent. The aim of the 3km is to introduce kids to trail running and a healthy lifestyle, while spending great time with family and friends.
Adult accompanying a child on 3km – R120
5km Run The Vines – R150 – Start: 8:00
10km Run The Vines – R190 – Start: 7:45
17km Run The Vines – R220 – Start: 7:15
Because we are running on working farms the promoted distances might not be exact. It might be a little longer or shorter. I will do my best to have it as close to the promoted distance as possible.
Timing is done by BoutTime. You must collect your timing tag at registration. Registration is always open one-hour before the start of the 17km distance. You can buy a permanent tag for R100 that can be used at all events timed with BoutTime. Live results and sms with your results and time included.
R50 Late entry fee.
All unpaid entries will be removed after 3 days.
Waterpoints will be available. It is however always advised to be self-sufficient when it comes to hydration when you run.
Hydration will be available at the waterpoints. Sorry. No food or sweeties. We want you to support the farm and vendors after your run.
Medals for all finishers.
Please do not leave any valuables in your car. You can leave it at registration.
